In Mission
World Community:

  • Fred Finch Home - A United Methodist home for troubled youth, located in Oakland, California.
  • Methodist Church in Bolivia - The California-Nevada Conference has a covenant with the Methodist Church in Bolivia. We support them with prayers and gifts, through donations and the sales of Bolivian handcrafts.
  • Heifer Project International - An International, ecumenical program to alleviate world hunger by providing food producing farm animals to impoverished people around the world. Each recipient, in turn, shares offspring with needy neighbors.
  • Sierra Service Project - A summer work camp on Indian Reservations in California (or nearby states). Youth (and adult counselors) from United Methodist Churches throughout California take turns spending a week to weatherize and repair homes for Native Americans.
  • Africa University - The first private, church related University on the continent, Africa University was dedicated in April 1994, and has begun to have classes in Agriculture and Theology.
  • UMCOR - United Methodist Church Committee on Relief
  • Advance Special Projects - These are projects designated by the United Methodist Church to receive 100% of your donation. Currently there are over 2000 projects worldwide.
Napa Community:
  • HOPE Day Center - In February 2001, construction began to convert the church's Centennial Hall (Adams Hall now - dedicated on October 20th, 2002 to Ken Adams) into a Day Center for the homeless, operated by The Napa County Council for Economic Opportunity and pooling resources from several agencies in the Community. It opened in April 2001.
  • Shearer Charter School - Members of the church volunteer in a variety of ways to help with our local elementary school.
